Why I started
Khyhealth Coaching

After I graduated from high school, I moved to another country
(PA->UK) to play soccer and earn my Business degree. Being so far from home, I was left to face many challenges alone. I was playing soccer competitively 6 days a week. I was not fueling properly, and my nutrition was awful. I was completely lost. Looking back now (2 years later), I realise how wrong the system is, and the frustrating part is that no one corrected me. Everything we struggle with seems to be normalised rather than fixed, but for me, this didn't feel right.
Is it normal to be bloated after every meal?
NO, yet we normalise it instead of figuring out what's causing it.
I researched for HOURS on nutrition and fitness. I set a goal for myself to get a six-pack, and the obsession began.
Constantly avoiding carbs and trying a keto diet, as a high-performing athlete...
Big mistake.
I finally got my six-pack after 2 months, but my energy was gone, and my mood swings were unpredictable.
My performance in training plummeted. But I continued a low-carb diet for 1 year.
Although my gut was repaired, bloating and inflammation were gone, and I was looking shredded, my hormones were wrecked. Time to figure out how to get my period back now, and the research obsession began again.
I later realised the massive gap in female nutrition and fitness.
This entire time I was following a plan that was perfect for men, but terrible for women.
No wonder I lost my period.
For 2 years, I was telling the doctor my period was gone.
The only thing they told me was my blood work was fine and sent me away.
All doing this on my own in England, I had no real guidance.
When I flew back to America for Christmas break, they told me I have hyperthyroid.
She said not getting my period is dangerous and I must go on Birth Control. Although I really wanted to do this more naturally, my health was on the line. The good thing is my hormonal acne cleared up, and I was getting a regular period again.
I flew back to England and went back to the doctor.
I told them my thyroid results, but I needed to do the testing all over again.
I was shocked when my Doctor told me I have HYPOthyroid.
"That must be wrong; my other doctor told me I have HYPERthyroid."
Nope, apparently I had a combination of both, and it was only getting worse.
My doctor told me I must go on levothyroxine for the rest of my life, but I refused.
So the next challenge I faced was,
How do I get my thyroid levels back to normal without medication?
I ate the best nutrient-dense meals for hormonal health and thyroid support.
I studied the power of the mind and holistic health.
2 months later, my blood tests came back normal, and I realised how corrupt everything is.
I fell in love with holistic health after this.
Changing my nutrition, cycle syncing, and the right workout plan helped me drastically. I stopped overtraining and under-fueling.
I focused on whole foods and removed highly processed ingredients and seed oils from my diet.
My energy was BACK, the inflammation in my body reduced, and I started building muscle and was actually satisfied with my results for once.
I paired my diet with my training and ate the right macros to support my goals.
After seeing the gap in women's health, I set out a new goal to spread awareness to other girls struggling.
